Fenggang Yunwu is green tea from Guizhou Province in southwestern China. Guidzhou is home of many quality green teas. Tea production there could be tracked back in Luyu's <Cha Jing>. The superior natural environment is flavorable to tea bush growing. Fenggang county is one among the 3 counties that are called "western tea yard". Fenggang Yunwu is typical Guizhou green for its longlasting taste and high aroma.
Appearance Leaf: Curly dark leaves. Long with sharp ends.
Liquid: clear light green

Origin: Fenggang county, Guizhou Province
To brew Fenggang Yunwu, first pour 80 degree boiled water to about one third of the gaiwan, porcelain or glass teapott, next put dry tea leaves in the glass and then again pour 85 degree hot water into the glass/cup/teapot till about 70%.This method is often used as a way to avoid the tender leaves to become damaged by the cooking hot water. Steeping time for first round can be up to 20 to 40 seconds. Steeping time can be prolonged with each subsequent brew. Fenggang Yunwu tea can be brewed for 3 rounds.
