This year Ziyun (Purple Cloud)Hao is made by Xiaguan Tuocha Co., Ltd, first time since 2003. Fine material is blended in this recipe. Unlike most Xiaguan puerh, it is less smoky.
Appearance: Moderately compressed. Surface of tea is brown topped with golden buds.
Infusion: Light crystal orange.
Taste: Mild Infusion followed by sweetness.

To brew 2010 Ziyun wild puerh cake, first put dry tea leaves (ratio leaves to water, 1:18) into the Yixing clay pot or ceramic gaiwan, then pour 100 degree water into the tea ware. Rinse the tea one or two times and discard all the liquid. Let it brew for 5 seconds for the first round and it is ready for drinking. Steeping time can be prolonged with each subsequent brew. This tea can be brewed for at least 6/7 rounds
